It's over for 2008

The season has come and gone and I saved my best effort for last. Saturday was the last race of the year and I managed to make it to the 4th round this time. The car was running very quick, I set a new personal best with a 11.86 in the first time run, the weather was perfect. By the time first round of eliminations came around it had warmed up so I thought the car might go a 11.95 and it did, 11.955 with me hitting the brakes hard so I didn't break out. For the second round it was a little warmer but I left the 11.95 anyways thinking the car would slow down a little, which it didn't, and went a 11.93. The third round it was cooler but I left that number on still sure the car would slow down a little, but it didn't, and it went 11.936 with me on the brakes hard again but hey I'm still winning. Now to the fourth round, it's dark now and much cooler so I drop it down to a 11.91 and yes it went quicker, 11.86 with me on the brakes very hard too and I lost this time. So I finally went a few rounds and have to be a little optimistic for 2009.
